oh. By the way - Thanks to everyone who sends me emails through the contact page, or messages via twitter…. commenting here may make it more fun for all. Also.. I think the music may be too distracting? Let me know.. will lower the volume in the future.
As mentioned, in addition to earning the $3925… which was NOT very time consuming (well for me. I outsourced the $400 worth of work), I have a list of 700 niche subscribers I can continue to pitch. I would have included stats from affiliate sales from pitching them, except that I can get terribly lazy when it comes to actually writing emails JUST on the hope of converting a sale. I have become allergic to that kind of marketing, so I have a hard time doing it to others. However, thats what it’s all about, so IGNORE ME ON THIS ONE.

Not a bad way to make money for sure. Not only can you flip an undervalued site, but you can also use it for SEO purposes if it has some age and pr with Google, which may pay off better in the long run.

Interesting idea Andrea… I’m gonna do a search and check some sites just for fun to begin
Makes me quite the nerd I guess if that is what I would do for fun! lol I’ll let you know if I end up finding and or purchasing any sites to flip.

Subscribed and Sphunn.
Keeping the subscribers was probably the most valuable part of your “website flipping” idea.

My eyeballs are falling out with exhaustion creating these, so happy to know at least some people are watching

umm.. whatever your name is SEO (spammer?) yeh I agree about the subscribers. What a bonus. Feel like emailing them on my behalf and splitting the revenue?

Nice idea! Your idea actually sparked something I’ve had on a backburner for quite some time.
I am working with a company that has an old website that ranks well on search engines (niche market) but has outdated products and information - so even though visitors come, conversions are really low. I’ve thought about updating the site (like in my “free time”), but am not sure how to balance existing high search engine ranking and updating the content for higher conversions.Do you have any experience or advice as to how to change content on an outdated website without loosing the high search engine ranking?
